Renowned actor Miguel Ferrer, celebrated for his memorable roles in NCIS: Los Angeles and Crossing Jordan, has sadly passed away at the age of 61 after a courageous battle with cancer, as reported by our sister site Deadline.
Ferrer graced the screen as Assistant Director Owen Granger in NCIS: Los Angeles, captivating audiences with his powerful portrayal since midway through Season 3. His character was embroiled in the intense mole hunt storyline, facing wrongful accusations in a recent episode. Additionally, he portrayed the skilled medical examiner Dr. Garret Macy opposite Jill Hennessy on NBC’s crime drama Crossing Jordan from 2001 to 2007.
The actor was also an integral part of the Twin Peaks universe, portraying FBI forensics expert Albert Rosenfield in the original ABC series and reprising the iconic role in the 1992 movie Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me. Ferrer’s talent continued to shine as he filmed a role in Showtime’s upcoming Twin Peaks revival, once again embodying the beloved character Rosenfield.
