In the NCIS season 21 finale, “Reef Madness,” Parker and his team responded to the discovery of several bodies aboard a ship destined to become an artificial reef. Admittedly, it wasn’t a compelling finale narrative. However, the events outside the official mystery made the episode special. Beyond introducing Parker’s mystery revolving around the identity of Lily, the finale also saw Knight faced with a significant decision: she was offered her dream job, which would take her away from the Major Case Response Team.
