Exciting news for NCIS fans! Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo, known for their roles as Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David, are teaming up for their own spinoff on Paramount+ titled “NCIS: Tony & Ziva.”
Announcing the project on social media, the duo affectionately referred to by fans as “Tiva,” shared that the series would follow Tony and Ziva’s adventures in Europe, where they are raising their daughter Tali in Paris. However, their idyllic life takes a dramatic turn when Tony’s company comes under attack, forcing the couple to go on the run.
De Pablo humorously noted, “It makes it really easy because the fans will know exactly what the show is. It’s about Tony and Ziva in Europe.” Weatherly, who departed from NCIS in season 13, added that the show would be filming in Europe over the summer.
Promising a mix of intrigue, romance, and high-stakes action, de Pablo expressed her excitement for the new series, highlighting the enduring love between Tony and Ziva. Despite her character’s departure in season 11, and rumors of her demise, Ziva made a surprise return in season 16.
The actors, who will also serve as executive producers alongside John McNamara, shared their gratitude to the fans who have supported the “TIVA” movement over the years.
