Speaking to The Wrap, Dietzen expressed, “I think everyone would love to see Gibbs make an appearance at some point. He’s such a beloved character in television history. I’m quite satisfied with how the scene turned out. There’s a sense of closeness and familiarity between Jimmy and Tony.”
Dietzen also mentioned that Harmon had been in discussions to return but unfortunately couldn’t make it due to scheduling conflicts.
