Brian Dietzen Spills Emotional Secrets About Co-Star’s Comeback – NCIS Fans, Brace for Impact!
NCIS actor Brian Dietzen expressed his delight upon learning about the return of NCIS: Los Angeles star Daniela Ruah to the franchise. Daniela, known for her role as Kensi Blye in the spin-off, will be directing two episodes for NCIS. She shared the exciting news on Instagram, stating, “Here we go again! This year, I’m thrilled to be directing an episode of NCIS and NCIS: Hawai’i! Stay tuned…”
In response, Brian commented, “See you soon!” along with praising hands emojis. Fans were also enthusiastic, expressing their joy and anticipation for Daniela’s directorial work.
Daniela is set to start filming this month, with her directed NCIS episode scheduled to air in March, followed by an NCIS: Hawai’i episode in April. Reflecting on her return to the franchise, she shared her honor and excitement, mentioning the familiarity of the cast and crew.
This marks Daniela’s second time behind the camera, following her directorial debut on NCIS: Los Angeles in season 12, where she directed five more episodes. The spin-off concluded its 14-season run in May of the previous year, leaving fans heartbroken. The show’s cancellation was not explicitly explained by CBS in January 2023, but budget constraints were speculated as a possible factor.
Daniela, however, expressed a positive perspective on the show’s end, stating in January 2023 that it was “time to move on creatively.” She acknowledged the show’s long and successful run, with characters evolving and stories being well-told. Since the series concluded, Daniela has been busy with various projects, including acting in Netflix’s Portuguese-language series “Turn of the Tide” and hosting the Portuguese version of “The Traitors,” titled “Os Traidores.”
