Breaking: NCIS: Los Angeles Actor Welcomed to Exciting New Spin-Off – Don’t Miss the Big News!
LL Cool J has made the transition from NCIS: Los Angeles to NCIS: Hawai’i, where filming for the new season has recently commenced. The actor, known for his role as Agent Sam Hanna, participated in a traditional Hawaiian blessing as part of the show’s kick-off.
Having been a regular on NCIS: Los Angeles throughout its entire run, LL Cool J found a new home in NCIS: Hawai’i after the cancellation of the former. Following the season finale of NCIS: Hawai’i last spring, viewers were surprised to see LL Cool J in one of the final scenes, signaling his return for the upcoming season.
LL Cool J had initially signed on as a recurring character for the Hawaiian spin-off before the Hollywood strike during the summer and fall. With the commencement of work on the new season, Agent Hanna’s presence adds credibility to the third NCIS spin-off, known for his no-nonsense approach to his job and a distinct sense of humor.
The cast of NCIS: Hawai’i participated in a traditional Hawaiian blessing ceremony, a customary practice before the start of each season’s filming. LL Cool J, alongside Vanessa Lachey (who plays Special Agent in Charge Jane Tennant), announced their return in an Instagram post, marking the beginning of the third season.
NCIS: Hawai’i’s new season is set to premiere on Monday, February 12, with LL Cool J already on set. Given the shortened season, fans can expect to see Agent Sam Hanna in a higher percentage of episodes than originally planned, as the season is likely to consist of 13 episodes due to the impact of the Hollywood strikes, causing delays in the production of the initially planned 20+ episode season.
