NCIS: What Kate Todd Actress Sasha Alexander Looks Like Today!!!!!
The current team on NCIS is a far cry from the one that debuted over 20 years ago. In the early seasons, the team included Special Agent Caitlin Todd, portrayed by Sasha Alexander. However, her time on the show was cut short when her character was killed off in a shocking shooting at the end of Season 2, deeply affecting the other characters. The real reason behind Alexander’s departure was largely due to the show’s demanding schedule. Despite leaving NCIS, she has remained active in the entertainment industry and seems to be thriving in both her career and personal life.
Sasha Alexander looks stunning these days, and fans can keep up with her latest projects and adventures by following her on Instagram, where she regularly shares photos of herself. But Instagram isn’t the only place to catch up with Alexander—she’s kept busy since her NCIS days. After leaving the show, she secured a lead role in another popular crime drama, Rizzoli & Isles, playing the brilliant Dr. Maura Isles.
The chemistry between Isles and Detective Jane Rizzoli (Angie Harmon) easily surpasses Kate Todd’s friendship with Abby Sciuto (Pauley Perrette) on NCIS. In fact, Rizzoli & Isles gave Alexander a chance for self-reflection. In an interview with The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, she shared what she learned through her role: “It’s okay to be different. It’s okay to beat your own drum. We all work on different frequencies, and there’s nothing wrong with that.”

Sasha Alexander Reflects on the Aftermath of Her NCIS Character’s Death
Rizzoli & Isles is just one of many projects Sasha Alexander has taken on since her departure from NCIS. She has appeared in films like Mission: Impossible III and Yes Man and taken on roles in TV shows such as Shameless. Alexander has also ventured into directing, overseeing episodes of You and Bull. Despite her wide-ranging accomplishments, NCIS and her character Kate Todd continue to be a significant touchstone in her career.
During a 2023 interview on The Double L Show podcast, Alexander reflected on her time with NCIS, particularly the violent death of her character. She shared a humorous story from after the episode aired: “I was in church, and a woman walked up to me. When she saw me, she was so shocked that she made a finger gun and said, ‘Pam, pam!'” While the reaction may have been a bit extreme, Alexander has maintained a positive relationship with her former co-stars.
In June 2024, Alexander reunited with Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo on their podcast, Off Duty: An NCIS Rewatch. As their first guest, she reminisced about her time on the show, including a story about breaking her nose during a scene. Though Alexander has achieved much in her career, for many fans, she will always be remembered as Kate Todd.
