NCIS Day is set to take place on Monday, September 25th, as part of CBS’s celebration of the show’s 20-year anniversary. To kick things off, the network will air the premiere episode of NCIS Season 1, featuring Mark Harmon, Michael Weatherly, Sasha Alexander, and David McCallum.
In this episode, a Marine dies on Air Force One, leading to a jurisdictional battle between NCIS, the FBI, and the Secret Service. Special Agent Gibbs, portrayed by Mark Harmon, takes over the case after sending the body to Ducky, played by David McCallum, for an autopsy. Gibbs then competes with Secret Service Agent Kate Todd, portrayed by Sasha Alexander. They uncover an assassination plot against the president and work together to solve the case, ultimately leading to Todd’s recruitment by Gibbs.
Following the series premiere, CBS will also air the Season 2 finale titled “SWAK,” where Tony DiNozzo opens a mysterious letter that releases a deadly genetically modified plague. The episode follows the team’s efforts to find an antidote and save DiNozzo and Todd.
Finally, the evening concludes with the episode “All Hands” from Season 19, in which Special Agent Parker and his NCIS team board a “ghost” ship to investigate terrorists.
In addition to the marathon, CBS is offering a 20% discount on NCIS merchandise from September 7th to October 2nd. Fans can use the code NCIS20 at checkout on ParamountShop.com to enjoy the discount on various items featuring the NCIS logo.
