NCIS: Origins has unveiled the first look at a young Leroy Jethro Gibbs, portrayed by Austin Stowell, along with its main cast. This upcoming prequel to the popular NCIS series delves into the early days of Gibbs’ career, capturing his experiences during training camp.
While the show has yet to announce a release date, production has been in full swing for several months. Fans now have their first glimpse of the characters, thanks to photos shared via TVLine. Besides Stowell as the young Gibbs, the cast includes Caleb Foote as Bernard Randolph, Diany Rodriguez as Vera Strickland, Tyla Abercrumbie as Mary Jo Hayes, Mariel Molino as Cecilia Dominguez, and Kyle Schmid as Mike Franks.

Mark Harmon, who originally played Gibbs in the main NCIS series, is also involved in the project from a creative perspective and is set to narrate the series. CBS Entertainment president Amy Reisenbach teased his return, stating that viewers will be excited to see Harmon back, as the series explores the complex and mysterious backstory of Gibbs while reintroducing beloved characters and introducing new ones.
