Meghan Markle must make one huge move to heal rift with Kate and William, expert warns!!!!!!
Prince Harry and William’s relationship became fraught years ago, with their brotherly feud igniting after Harry and Meghan Markle’s exit from the Royal Family
The chances of a reconciliation between Prince Harry and William are very slim without one stark move, a royal expert claims.
The warring brothers have had a frosty relationship in recent years, with their sibling rivalry making headlines after Harry and Meghan Markle‘s shock exit from the Royal Family in 2020. As the couple stepped down as senior royals and relocated to the US, Harry told Oprah Winfrey in a bombshell interview that he and William were on ‘different paths’.
Afterwards, the Duke of Sussex sensationally claimed in his memoir Spare that he and his brother had a physical altercation at Harry and Meghan’s former royal residence Frogmore Cottage, further dividing them. William and Princess Kate have since become increasingly estranged from the Sussexes, with royal experts shutting down hopes of a happy reunion.

But now, a broadcaster has claimed many are in agreement that the Fab Four’s feud can be fixed if Harry and Meghan put in some groundwork. The Daily Mail’s Richard Eden, who hosts the Palace Confidential podcast, delved into William and Harry’s sibling rivalry and said it’s down to the Sussexes to take action.
Richard noted: “I’ve been speaking to people about the chances of a reconciliation between the brothers. But everyone really has made the same point that it won’t happen until Harry and Meghan really apologise for everything they have said.”
He continued: “They need to apologise, at least privately, but also how can there be that reconciliation when William and Catherine just don’t know what will later appear in a TV programme or in a book? Genuinely, once you’ve lost that trust you’ve kind of lost it forever.”
Since his departure from the Royal Family, Harry has only made a few trips back to the UK, with his children returning just once for Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June 2022. Given that their youngest, Princess Lilibet, was born in the United States, it is believed this is the sole occasion her grandfather, King Charles, has met her.
And now, it’s expected Harry and Meghan may snub any UK Christmas invites – reportedly including one from Harry’s uncle, Charles Spencer – in favour of family time in the States. Speaking to OK!, former royal correspondent Jennie Bond shared touching insights on why Meghan might opt for a California Christmas.
She said: “I think most women like to be with their mums on Christmas Day. Given that Doria does not seem to have any other family she wants to share the festivities with, I think it’s a fair bet that Meghan will want to be with her and that would mean them all being in California. I don’t imagine that Doria would want to spend such a special time with people she barely knows – in other words, the Spencers.”
As for other European trips during the holiday season, the expert doesn’t see them heading to Portugal unless Eugenie and Jack are there. Even though Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, started splitting their time between Portugal and the UK in 2022, Jennie believes that “Eugenie will want to be with her mum [Sarah Ferguson] on Christmas Day”.
