Brian Dietzen as Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Jimmy Palmer – RETURNING

Dr. Palmer began on the show as a recurring star for the first five seasons, starring in Seasons 6 through 9, and becoming a main cast member from Season 10 onwards.

Diona Reasonover as Forensic Specialist Kasie Hines – RETURNING

Hines started as a recurring star in Season 15, moving to a main cast member in Season 16 onward.

Rocky Carroll as NCIS Director Leon Vance – RETURNING

Vance began as a recurring star on Season 5, becoming a main cast member from Season 6 onward.

Katrina Law as Special Agent Jessica Knight – POSSIBLY RETURNING

Knight appeared as a guest star on Season 18, and returned for Season 19 as a main cast member. She’s appeared ever since.

If you watched the finale of Season 21, you saw Knight accept a position across the country at Camp Pendleton.

When asked if she’d be exiting, co-showrunner Steve D. Binder shared with TV Line, “Well, you know, we’ve set something up there, and I will point you toward our track record where ‘You never know.’ We’ve had people look like they were going away and then it’s found out they weren’t going away, and then people who just disappear like Gibbs.”

The actress also responded to the question by saying: “Hmmm…. Better tune in for that season opener! [Laughs, heartily.]” Find out what else she said!
