NCIS: Tony & Ziva’s Michael Weatherly And Cote De Pablo Set For MIPCOM Trip!!!
EXCLUSIVE: Before Tony and Ziva return to TV screens, they’ll be making a stop at the French Riviera.
Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo, who play former NCIS special agents Anthony DiNozzo and Ziva David in the highly anticipated NCIS: Tony and Ziva series, are set to join Paramount Global for an informal press breakfast at MIPCOM next month.
The duo will also take the stage alongside Dan Cohen, Paramount’s Chief Content Licensing Officer, during his Media Mastermind interview on Tuesday, October 22.
NCIS: Tony & Ziva, the new series, picks up several years after the characters’ emotional reunion in a previous NCIS storyline. In the show, Tony and Ziva come together to raise their daughter, Tali (played by Isla Gie), whom Tony has been raising alone under the belief that Ziva was dead. When Tony’s Paris-based security firm is attacked, the pair are forced to go on the run, confronting their past and questioning whether they can truly trust each other again. Filming for the series is currently underway in Budapest, Hungary.
The Paramount+ original series, produced by CBS Studios, is being shopped at MIPCOM through Paramount Global Content Distribution.
The complex relationship between Tony and Ziva was a major storyline throughout multiple seasons of NCIS. Cote de Pablo departed the show in 2013 after 11 seasons, only to make an unexpected return in seasons 16 and 17. Michael Weatherly exited after 13 seasons but made a brief return earlier this year in an episode honoring Dr. Donald “Ducky” Mallard, following the passing of actor David McCallum in 2023.
