Rumors of Michael Weatherly’s Return to NCIS
Amid his personal loss, there are reports that Michael Weatherly is in negotiations to return to NCIS, after leaving the show in 2016. According to RadarOnline, Michael has been in talks about a potential comeback, though his demands may be causing hesitation from the network.
Reportedly, Weatherly is interested in bringing back Cote de Pablo, who played Ziva David, his character’s love interest, as part of the deal. He also wants Robert Wagner, who portrayed his character’s father, to return as well.
A source commented, “Michael loves to stir things up and get fans excited about his comeback, but he’s making it tough on himself with all the demands. The bosses are at their wit’s end trying to figure out if it’s worth it.”
With the ongoing writers’ strike complicating things, the possibility of Weatherly’s return to the NCIS universe remains uncertain.
