In fact, Rizzoli & Isles gave Alexander a chance for self-reflection. In an interview with The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, she shared what she learned through her role: “It’s okay to be different. It’s okay to beat your own drum. We all work on different frequencies, and there’s nothing wrong with that.”

Sasha Alexander Reflects on the Aftermath of Her NCIS Character’s Death
Rizzoli & Isles is just one of many projects Sasha Alexander has taken on since her departure from NCIS. She has appeared in films like Mission: Impossible III and Yes Man and taken on roles in TV shows such as Shameless. Alexander has also ventured into directing, overseeing episodes of You and Bull. Despite her wide-ranging accomplishments, NCIS and her character Kate Todd continue to be a significant touchstone in her career.
During a 2023 interview on The Double L Show podcast, Alexander reflected on her time with NCIS, particularly the violent death of her character. She shared a humorous story from after the episode aired: “I was in church, and a woman walked up to me. When she saw me, she was so shocked that she made a finger gun and said, ‘Pam, pam!'” While the reaction may have been a bit extreme, Alexander has maintained a positive relationship with her former co-stars.
In June 2024, Alexander reunited with Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo on their podcast, Off Duty: An NCIS Rewatch. As their first guest, she reminisced about her time on the show, including a story about breaking her nose during a scene.
