CBS provided the following details about the upcoming series:
NCIS: Origins follows a young Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Austin Stowell) in 1991, well before the events of the original NCIS. The series, narrated by Mark Harmon, depicts Gibbs’ early career as a newly minted special agent at the nascent NCIS Camp Pendleton office. There, he establishes his place on a gritty, ragtag team led by the legendary Mike Franks (Kyle Schmid).
NCIS: Origins will premiere during the 2024-2025 season on Mondays from 10:00 to 11:00 PM ET/PT on CBS and will be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.
