NCIS Hawai’i Shocker: Two Exclusive Bonus Specials Are Coming – You Won’t Believe What’s Inside!

NCIS: Hawai’i is set to release two new bonus specials as part of its home release. Despite the show’s cancellation earlier this year, the complete series will be available on DVD as a box set starting October 8.

The bonus features include two specials: ‘Ruah’s Rules: Directing NCIS and NCIS: Hawai’i’ and ‘NCIS: Hawai’i Season 3: The Third Wave’ (via Us Weekly).

Fans can pre-order NCIS: Hawai’i: The Complete Series on Amazon Canada now, with pre-orders for the US and UK expected soon. The series, which aired from 2021 to May of this year, followed Agent Jane Tennant (Vanessa Lachey) and her team in Hawai’i.

CBS Entertainment’s Amy Reisenbach reflected on the difficult decision to cancel the show, explaining to Variety, “I’m a big fan of TV first and I sympathize with the fans who are disappointed. But at the end of the day, our job at CBS is to make those really tough calls. We look at all the numbers, projections, and opportunities for future success.”

Vanessa Lachey expressed her pride in her role as Jane Tennant, stating, “The show meant so much to me and to lots of people. As an AAPI (Asian American and Pacific Islanders) woman, wife, mother, colleague, and friend, I am more proud than ever to have been your Jane Tennant on TV. This journey has taught me to continue to push the envelope and break glass ceilings. I encourage you ALL to as well!”

NCIS: Hawai’i aired on CBS in the US. NCIS airs on CBS in the US, and seasons 1-20 are available for streaming on Disney+ in the UK.
