Major News! ‘NCIS’ Season 22 Just Got a Game-Changing Update – You Won’t Believe What’s Coming!
One of America’s most beloved police procedurals, NCIS, which has aired since the early 2000s, will be back this fall with another thrilling season. As fans eagerly await the premiere, TV Insider brings some exciting news! The long-running series has already begun production, as revealed on social media by Brian Dietzen, who plays Dr. Jimmy Palmer. The new season will premiere on Monday, October 14, from 8:00 to 9:00 PM ET/PT. Afterward, it will move to its regular time slot of 9:00 to 10:00 PM ET/PT, starting Monday, October 21.
On July 17, Dietzen shared a photo on Instagram of his character’s glasses with the caption, “These are going on my face now – Hello Jimmy Palmer. Welcome back everyone!” He added the show’s hashtag and the upcoming season number, confirming his return in NCIS Season 22. Joining him are the main cast members: Sean Murray as Timothy McGee, Wilmer Valderrama as Nick Torres, Katrina Law as Jessica Knight, Diona Reasonover as Kasie Hines, Rocky Carroll as Leon Vance, and Gary Cole as Alden Parker.
Fans will recall that the last season of NCIS ended on a gripping cliffhanger! Jessica faced a tough decision after being offered a new job as Chief REACT Training Officer, which would take her away from the team and her boyfriend, Jimmy. Unfortunately, Jimmy learned about the job in the worst way, causing him to push her away and effectively break up with her. At the end of the episode, Jessica told Leon she is taking the job.
