His legacy includes creating “The Osgood File,” a radio commentary that ran for nearly 46 years. Osgood’s versatility earned him numerous awards, and his warm and intelligent delivery left a lasting impact. A tribute to him will be featured on “CBS Sunday Morning” on January 28. He is survived by his wife, Jean, and their five children.
