NCIS: Tony and Ziva Cast Complete as Filming Begins!
The NCIS spinoff focused on Cote de Pablo and Michael Weatherly’s characters is assembling its core cast. The Paramount+ series, titled “NCIS: Tony and Ziva,” has added eight actors as series regulars and has begun production in Budapest.
Joining de Pablo and Weatherly, who reprise their roles as Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David from CBS’ NCIS flagship, are Isla Gie, Amita Suman, Maximilian Osinski, Nassima Benchicou, Julian Ovenden, Terence Maynard, Lara Rossi, and James D’Arcy. Paramount+ gave a series order to the show in February; “Tony and Ziva” is one of two new NCIS-verse series in the works, along with a prequel titled “NCIS: Origins” that will debut on CBS in the fall.
“Tony and Ziva” will pick up several years after the two characters reunited in the flagship show’s storyline, raising their daughter, Tali (played by Gie, “The Outlaws”), in Paris, where Tony heads a security company. When the company is attacked, “they must go on the run across Europe, try to figure out who is after them and maybe even learn to trust each other again so they can finally have their unconventional happily ever after,” according to the show’s logline.
Suman (“Shadow and Bone”) will play Claudette, the extremely proficient chief technical officer at Tony’s company. Osinski (“Ted Lasso,” “Agents of SHIELD”) plays Boris, a Russian expat and one of the best and most elusive hackers in the world. Benchicou will play Martine, an elegant and crafty former French intelligence agent.
