Revealed: Trump Shooter is a 20-Year-Old Republican Who Donated to Biden!

A 20-year-old registered Republican named Thomas Matthew Crooks, who had previously donated to Joe Biden, was shot dead by a US Secret Service sniper after opening fire on former President Donald Trump during a rally in Pennsylvania last night.

Crooks’ father, Matthew Crooks, 53, told CNN that he was trying to understand “what the hell is going on” and would wait to speak to law enforcement before making further comments.

The incident occurred at 6:15 pm in Butler, Pennsylvania, where Trump, 78, was speaking to thousands of supporters. Crooks fired at least eight bullets from a rooftop just 130 yards from where Trump was on stage. Law enforcement sources told CBS News that Crooks was armed with an “AR-style rifle.”

During the attack, Crooks appeared to be wearing merchandise promoting Demolition Ranch, a popular YouTube channel devoted to firearms, as reported by NBC News. Special Agent Kevin Rojek, the FBI officer in charge, said Crooks was identified using DNA since he was not carrying any ID.

State voter records show Crooks was a registered Republican. US media reported that at age 17, Crooks donated $15 to the liberal ActBlue political action committee on January 20, 2021, Biden’s Inauguration Day.

Following the shooting, a bomb squad and agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives were at an address registered to Crooks. Law enforcement officials reported that a member of the crowd was killed, and two others were critically wounded. All three victims are males.

During the assassination attempt, Trump was seen grabbing his ear as loud bangs rang out, causing him to duck to the floor. The Secret Service quickly surrounded Trump as screams erupted from the crowd. Trump, bloodied and hurt, then stood up with blood pouring down his cheek, raised his fist in defiance, and shouted “fight” as the audience chanted “USA.” He was then escorted off stage and into a vehicle by the Secret Service.

Special Agent Rojek stated that they had not identified a motive for what he called “an assassination attempt on our former president.” According to Pennsylvania’s public court records, Crooks had no criminal history. Officials are still working to determine a motive behind the shooting.

Crooks graduated from Bethel Park High School in 2022 and received a $500 “star award” from the National Math and Science Initiative, according to a report from The Tribune-Review in western Pennsylvania.
