CBS’s long-running series “NCIS” will return for its 22nd season on Monday, October 14, from 8:00 to 9:00 PM ET/PT. After the premiere, the show will shift to its regular timeslot of 9:00 to 10:00 PM ET/PT, starting Monday, October 21.

“NCIS” follows the Naval Criminal Investigative Service team as they solve crimes involving the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps. The series is known for its mix of procedural drama, character-driven storytelling, and suspenseful plotlines.
Cast
The core cast will return for the new season. Sean Murray plays Timothy McGee, Wilmer Valderrama is Nick Torres, Katrina Law portrays Jessica Knight, Brian Dietzen is Jimmy Palmer, Diona Reasonover plays Kasie Hines, Rocky Carroll is Leon Vance, and Gary Cole is Alden Parker. Gary Cole replaced Mark Harmon, who played Leroy Jethro Gibbs since the beginning of the series. Gibbs left the show in the fourth episode of Season 19, choosing to stay in Alaska instead of returning.
