The long-running procedural drama, one of CBS Studios’ most popular franchises, is reuniting stars Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo for the first time in over a decade for a Paramount+ Original titled NCIS: Tony & Ziva. The duo will executive produce the project, which catches up with the beloved characters Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David and their complicated relationship.
Recently, Weatherly offered an update on NCIS: Tony & Ziva by sharing a post on Instagram with an intriguing caption. The actor and executive producer wrote, “The beginning of a new era has begun within the #ncisverse #tony&ziva.” Although it’s not an official confirmation of filming, it is known that the spinoff intends to film in Europe over the summer.

The series consists of ten episodes, with The Magicians showrunner and Trumbo writer John McNamara penning the script and also serving as executive producer. The story unfolds after Ziva’s memorable exit from the main series.
After Ziva’s supposed death in the original NCIS show, Tony left the team to raise their daughter. Years later, Ziva is discovered alive, leading her to complete one final mission before reuniting with Tony and their daughter in Paris. A casting report has confirmed that the Paramount+ Original will cast an actor to play Tali, their teenage daughter, who will have an uneasy relationship with her mother.
