Pauley Perrette, born on March 27, 1969, in New Orleans, grew up in the southern United States. She pursued studies in criminal justice at Valdosta State University and later at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City.
Perrette rose to fame for her iconic portrayal of Abby Sciuto on ‘NCIS,’ a role she began in 2003. Her career expanded to include appearances in various TV shows and films, such as ‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ and ‘NCIS: New Orleans.’ Beyond acting, Perrette is recognized for her activism and creative endeavors, including poetry and music.
In 2019, Perrette departed from ‘NCIS’ citing on-set issues, and in 2020, she starred in the CBS sitcom ‘Broke.’ She announced her retirement from acting in July 2020, expressing gratitude for life’s experiences and the unwavering support of her loved ones.
