NCIS Origins: Premiere Date Revealed! Will It Follow NCIS?
CBS has announced the placement of “NCIS: Origins” in its fall schedule. The show will air on Mondays at 10 p.m., directly following episodes of NCIS Season 22, taking the spot previously held by NCIS: Hawai’i. The premiere date for “NCIS: Origins” is yet to be revealed. Additionally, “NCIS: Sydney” Season 2 is set to air on Fridays at 8 p.m. later in the season, following the series finale of Blue Bloods.

The upcoming series “NCIS: Origins” has unveiled its star-studded cast. Kyle Schmid, known for his role as Franks, previously played by Muse Watson, will join Lucas Stowell in portraying the youthful Leroy Jethro Gibbs. Mark Harmon will return to the NCIS universe as the narrator and executive producer of the series.
The ensemble also includes Mariel Molina as Special Agent Lala Dominguez, Tyla Abercrumbie as Field Operation Support Officer Mary Jo Sullivan, and Diany Rodriguez as Special Agent Vera Strickland. Daniel Bellomy takes on the role of probationary agent Granville “Granny” Dawson, while Caleb Martin Foote portrays Special Agent Benjamin “Randy” Randolf.
Notably, Robert Taylor from “Longmire” will play Jackson Gibbs, Leroy Jethro Gibbs’ father, a role formerly portrayed by Ralph Waite. With this impressive cast, “NCIS: Origins” aims to captivate viewers with the genesis story of one of television’s most beloved characters.
