NCIS Actor Arrested for Allegedly Storming Capitol on Jan. 6.
Actor Indicted for Capitol Riot Involvement: NCIS, The Rookie Guest Star Faces Misdemeanor Charges.
Nolan Freeman, known for roles in NCIS and The Rookie, was indicted Thursday for his alleged involvement in the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. Accused of entering the Capitol during the height of the chaos, Freeman faces misdemeanor charges, including obstruction of an official proceeding and entering a government building without lawful authority.
Prosecutors cited seven photos allegedly showing Freeman inside and around the Capitol, along with phone records indicating his presence during the riot. Flight records suggest he traveled from Sacramento to Washington around the same time.
The FBI received a tip about Freeman’s involvement in December 2022. Despite confirming his phone number, Freeman requested legal counsel when questioned about his whereabouts on Jan. 6, 2021, during an FBI interview in June 2023.
Freeman’s last appearance on screen was in NCIS, guest-starring in its 17th season opener in 2019.
