Daniela Ruah and Vanessa Lachey Join Forces for NCIS Milestone Episode! Exclusive Inside Scoop!

CBS’s highly-watched NCIS franchise is gearing up to air its landmark 1,000th episode in a few weeks, with representations from both the Los Angeles and Pearl Harbor offices.

In an exclusive report from TVLine, it’s revealed that Daniela Ruah, known for her role as Special Agent Kensi Blye-Deeks throughout the 14-season run of NCIS: Los Angeles, and Vanessa Lachey, currently leading the NCIS: Hawai’i team as Special Agent in Charge Jane Tennant, will make appearances during this milestone episode, slated to air on Monday, April 15 as part of NCIS.

While neither Kensi nor Jane will physically join the D.C.-based NCIS team, sources hint that their appearances will be entertaining nonetheless.

Teasing the franchise’s 1,000th episode, NCIS co-showrunner David North revealed, “One of our own beloved characters is going to end up in grave danger, and you’re going to see all of the different franchises brought into this in a little bit of a different way.”

Co-showrunner Steven D. Binder added, “There’ll be a personal storyline, and this one will circle around Director Vance,” portrayed by NCIS veteran Rocky Carroll.

Fans can anticipate numerous nods to the show’s history and some hidden gems for long-time enthusiasts, with North emphasizing, “We’re going to play plenty of homage to the past,” and Binder adding, “If you’re watching it in 4K, you might have to blow somethings things up, but they’re going to be there.”

Ruah, who recently directed episodes for both NCIS and NCIS: Hawai’i, expressed openness to reprising her role as Kensi if the opportunity arises, while Lachey’s character Tennant has made appearances in NCIS crossovers in the past.

As the milestone episode approaches, excitement builds among fans for what promises to be an unforgettable celebration of the beloved NCIS franchise’s enduring legacy.
