Exciting news has emerged about the highly anticipated 1000th episode of NCIS! Daniela Ruah is set to reprise her role as Special Agent Kensi Blye from NCIS: Los Angeles, while Vanessa Lachey will portray Special Agent Jane Tennant from NCIS: Hawai’i. Although the two agents won’t physically be at the D.C. office, they will participate remotely.

NCIS co-showrunner Steven D. Binder assures fans that the milestone episode will be a delight, promising to encompass the show’s entire history from episode one onward. “There’s going to be a lot of Easter eggs in the show, too, visual and auditory, for fans to discover,” Binder shared with Parade.

For Ruah, this marks a special homecoming as she returns to her role after 15 years on NCIS: Los Angeles, where she has also ventured into directing. “So many familiar faces and people I love,” Ruah expressed to Deadline. “It’s like coming home.”

Lachey, who has appeared in prior crossover episodes, brings her NCIS experience to the table for this momentous occasion.
