In a surprise appearance, Michael Weatherly reprised his role as Tony DiNozzo, sparking curiosity among viewers about the absence of Mark Harmon’s Gibbs.

Speaking to The Wrap, Dietzen expressed, “I think everyone would love to see Gibbs make an appearance at some point. He’s such a beloved character in television history. I’m quite satisfied with how the scene turned out. There’s a sense of closeness and familiarity between Jimmy and Tony.”

Dietzen also mentioned that Harmon had been in discussions to return but unfortunately couldn’t make it due to scheduling conflicts.
