Taylor Swift confirmed to NBC News that she has made two generous donations totaling $100,000 to support the family of Lisa Lopez-Galvan, a local radio station DJ tragically killed during the chaos following the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl parade. Swift contributed $50,000 to a GoFundMe campaign established to provide financial assistance to Lopez-Galvan’s family, which was verified by Lopez-Galvan’s niece, Michaela Lopez.

The fundraiser was set up by the family to aid in coping with the loss of their beloved Lisa, who was described by her brother, Beto Lopez, as a deeply compassionate and loving individual. Lopez-Galvan, who attended the parade festivities with her son, was a devoted Chiefs fan. Tragically, while her son survived the incident, Lopez-Galvan did not. She leaves behind her husband of 22 years and their two children.
