Daniela Ruah Celebrates a ‘Significant Goal’ – You Won’t Believe Her Achievement!
Daniela Ruah, known for her role as Kensi Blye on NCIS: Los Angeles, celebrated a significant achievement by successfully completing the Malibu Triathlon. She documented her training journey in a Reel shared on Instagram, highlighting the iconic event where she competed alongside former NCIS cast members Caleb Castille, Duncan Campbell, and David Olsen.
In an Instagram post expressing her joy, Ruah shared, “Sunday was fantastic! Not only did I accomplish a huge goal (look mom, I did it!), but I did it with amazing friends AND the @malibutri raised over $1.2 MILLION dollars for @childrensla. Congratulations to everyone who took part! Thank you so much to everyone who contributed! The entire journey was unforgettable. Do we want to do it again next year?”
The actress completed the triathlon in support of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and had previously announced her participation on Instagram, aiming to raise $10,000 for the worthy cause. In her earlier post, Ruah explained, “For the past few years, I’ve participated in the Malibu triathlon to raise funds for the Los Angeles Children’s Hospital. However, I’ve only ever run the running portion of the race as part of a relay team. This year, however, because I turn 40 in December, I decided to treat myself to an entire race that included swimming, biking, and running.”
Caleb Castille (Agent Roundtree), Duncan Campbell (Agent Caster), and her husband David Olsen (Tom Olsen on NCIS: LA) joined forces to support the fundraising efforts. Ruah expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to the cause and reflected on the unforgettable journey. The question remains: Will they want to do it again next year?
