Breaking News: NCIS Star’s Massive Hint on Mark Harmon’s Return!Fans, Get Ready for the Comeback of a Lifetime!

Rocky Carroll, co-star of Mark Harmon on NCIS, believes that the beloved character Leroy Gibbs will make a return, at least “one more time.” Since Gibbs’ final appearance at the end of Season 19, fans have been eagerly awaiting any news of his potential return, even if just for a cameo.

Reports suggested that the iconic character would be back for the show’s 450th episode, but with no sighting of Gibbs, speculation continues about when and how he might reappear. According to Movieguide, there’s a good chance that Mark Harmon will resume his role, as NCIS creator Steven D. Binder is keen on his comeback, with co-star Rocky Carroll indicating Gibbs’ return.

Carroll, who portrayed Leon Vance on NCIS alongside Mark Harmon, expressed confidence in Gibbs’ return due to the character’s popularity among the other characters. He stated, “I think as long as this show stays on the air, there will always be a little bit of a tease that we might see Gibbs again. I don’t see how we don’t see him one more time at some point.”

Binder echoes Carroll’s sentiments, expressing determination to bring Mark Harmon back to the drama of NCIS. However, Binder wants to ensure that Gibbs’ return is handled correctly. Harmon’s character left the show after 19 years, enjoying a tranquil life in Anchorage, Alaska, following a challenging case.

Binder emphasizes that Gibbs is on a “higher plane of existence,” last seen “smiling on a river happy.” He wants to find the right reason to bring Gibbs back into the plot, whether for good or bad reasons. Binder notes that, for now, the goal is to either “truly embrace” Gibbs’ new low-stress lifestyle or “blow that out of the water.”

Despite Mark Harmon taking on a behind-the-scenes role as an executive producer, fans have been hopeful for Gibbs’ return. The recent disclosure from both Mark Harmon’s co-star and the showrunner is seen as a positive sign for fans eager to see Leroy Gibbs back in action, even if only for one more case.
