Pauley Perrette’s Heartfelt Tribute to ‘Legend’ David McCallum – Unforgettable Moments Shared!

Pauley Perrette has joined the collective of NCIS veterans remembering co-star David McCallum, who passed away at age 90.

In a heartfelt Instagram post filled with photos, the actress, known for her role as Abby Sciuto on the CBS procedural from 2003-2018, wrote, “Oh David. What a life. What a legend. What a journey. And your legacy will always be the love you have for your family. Love to [wife] Katherine and the kids and the grandkids, your absolutely very favorite things.”

McCallum portrayed chief medical examiner Dr. Donald “Ducky” Mallard on NCIS for all 20 seasons, making his final remote appearances in the last two episodes of Season 20 last spring. He was the last remaining original cast member after the exit of series lead Mark Harmon early in Season 19.

“David lived a great, full, long life,” Harmon shared in a statement to TVLine. “I was in awe when I first met him, and all of us on the show were honored to have toed a mark opposite him. My condolences go out to Katherine and his family.”

The NCIS marathon on CBS, which celebrated the show’s 20th anniversary, concluded with an In memoriam card in remembrance of McCallum.
