NCIS Shock: First Look at Cote de Pablo’s Epic Return as Ziva David – Must-See Sneak Peek!

It’s common knowledge now that Cote de Pablo is making a comeback to NCIS for four episodes in the 17th season, starting with the first two episodes and two more later in the season.

Her return kicks off with “Out of the Darkness,” where Ziva surprises Gibbs (Mark Harmon) with a cryptic warning, leading him to question why she remained underground for years while being presumed dead by family and friends.

Executive producer Steven Binder shared insights in an interview last month, stating, “One of the things that we wanted to do was not just create something out of whole cloth where you’re like ‘huh?'” He further explained that the storyline has ties to the show’s history and the character of Ziva David.

The narrative unfolds in “Into the Light,” where Gibbs and Ziva find their lives in danger. Gibbs seeks to unravel the mystery of who they are running from, discovering that a woman named Sahar (Mouzam Makkar) is behind the threats. Sahar is the one who forced Ziva to pretend she was dead and entrusted parenting duties for her daughter Tali to Tony (Michael Weatherly).

As Gibbs and Ziva conduct a rogue investigation, the plot takes an unexpected turn when a potential terrorist plot is revealed.
