Is ‘NCIS: Hawai’i’ Renewed for Season 3?
CBS has announced the renewal of NCIS: Hawai’i for a third season, continuing the success of the NCIS spinoff. The series, which premiered in 2021, revolves around the Naval Crime Investigative Services team based in Pearl Harbor, led by Vanessa Lachey as Jane Tennant. The show follows the team as they handle missions related to national security while also navigating their personal lives.
In Season 2, the series maintained its status as a solid contributor to CBS, even though it didn’t match the ratings of its debut season. The main cast of NCIS: Hawai’i is expected to return for the third season, with Vanessa Lachey leading the way. The show also features Alex Tarrant, Noah Mills, Yasmine Al-Bustami, Jason Antoon, Tori Anderson, and Kian Talan, among others.
The upcoming episodes of Season 2, which had a brief hiatus, are set to resume with an episode titled “Good Samaritan.” In this episode, the team will investigate the case of a missing Navy officer whose body washes up on shore. Special Agent Pike, played by Mark Gessner, will be called upon to help solve the case. Alongside the mystery, viewers can expect to see Jane Tennant meeting her son Alex’s new girlfriend.
CBS also renewed other crime dramas, including NCIS and CSI: Las Vegas, for their respective 21st and 3rd seasons. The network maintains its commitment to its staple shows, with new seasons of The Amazing Race, Survivor, Tough as Nails, Lingo, 60 Minutes, and 48 Hours also on the horizon. CBS President Amy Reisenbach expressed her enthusiasm about the network’s diverse slate of shows, showcasing its continued dedication to delivering quality content.
NCIS: Hawai’i will return with a new episode on February 27. Fans can look forward to the third season of the series and enjoy behind-the-scenes teasers from Vanessa Lachey as they await its return.
