Were Fans Astounded by the NCIS Star’s Incredible Hidden Talent?

Cote de Pablo once surprised the audience with her unexpected singing talent, which left fans in awe. While she was known primarily as an actress who portrayed the character Ziva with depth and strength on NCIS, her impromptu singing performance unveiled a whole new aspect of her talent.

The surprising moment occurred in the first episode of NCIS Season 6 when Ziva began to sing Diana Krall’s “Temptation” with remarkable skill. Viewers couldn’t help but be amazed by her singing abilities.

In a twist of fate, Cote de Pablo was initially set to make her Broadway debut in the musical stage play “The Mambo Kings” in 2005. However, her Broadway plans were cut short after a brief trial run in San Francisco. During this waiting period, she decided to send a video audition for a role on NCIS.

Two days after “The Mambo Kings” was canceled, de Pablo received an invitation for a screen test in Los Angeles. This twist of fate led to her iconic role on NCIS, making her one of the show’s most beloved characters.

Although we don’t often hear Cote de Pablo’s singing abilities, she has demonstrated her vocal talent on a few occasions. Her rendition of “Gracias A La Vida” in the 2015 film “The 33,” for which she also contributed her voice to the soundtrack, is considered a work of art. It’s a shame that her singing talents are not more widely recognized.
